Job summary

Fluidstack seeks a senior mechanical operations leader to oversee the operational mechanical and cooling infrastructure across its hyperscale AI data center fleet. You will own system readiness, assessments, and handover processes for new sites, ensuring top-tier reliability for AI workloads.

You will also review designs from an operational perspective, drive best practices, and lead high-risk MOPs/EOPs while coordinating root-cause analyses of cooling events to continually raise the standard.

Qualifications

• Experience with critical mechanical systems for large-scale data centers.
• Strong focus on thermal precision and reliability for AI workloads.
• Ability to lead high-risk mechanical operations and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical authority for operational mechanical and cooling infrastructure across hyperscale AI data center fleet.
• Lead site assessments and operational audits, driving readiness ahead of site activation.
• Review designs from an operational lens and feed learnings back into design and manufacturing as the build becomes productized.
• Be the senior voice on chillers, cooling towers, CDU/CRAC, and liquid cooling in live environments.
• Own commissioning-to-operations handover for new sites and author high-risk MOPs, EOPs, and AOPs; lead root cause analysis on significant cooling events.
