TerraPower, a nuclear technology company based in Bellevue, Washington, seeks a Senior Thermal Hydraulic Test Engineer to design and conduct thermal hydraulic tests supporting analytic analyses for the Natrium Demonstration Plant. The successful candidate will plan, test, review documents, engage with vendors, and generate deliverables.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a testing/R&D environment preferred.
• Experience in a laboratory setting and post-processing of experiments.

Responsabilités

• Develop and apply thermal-hydraulic analysis methods (steady state and transient).
• Perform heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics calculations.
• Analyze reactor operations and events per applicable codes to define loadings and limits.
• Conduct multiscale neutronics and control analyses for thermal hydraulics of various fluids.
• Collaborate with other engineering groups on design and testing and validate methodologies.
