Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Thermal Generations Project Manager to lead multi-office projects in Overland Park, KS and other sites. You will guide project scope, budgets, and risk while coordinating with stakeholders to meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.

The role demands advanced project management expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment across geographies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
12+ years of post-education project management experience in A/E/C.
Strong project delivery process knowledge and leadership.
Advanced analytical and organizational skills with business acumen.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across levels.

Responsibilities

Provide PM leadership for large, complex projects with budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and report project progress.
Advise on pursuit/initiation activities including Go/No-Go decisions.
Engage in contract negotiations, risk mitigation, and pricing reviews.
Lead technical reviews and ensure QA/QC plan adherence.
Mentor staff and guide performance across project teams.
Maintain project documentation (PMP, QP, PSP) and reporting.
Coordinate resources and subcontracting with area/technical managers.
Ensure regular client communications on scope, schedule, and budget.
