Job summary

Gradian is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead thermal management design for large-scale data center and manufacturing systems, focusing on liquid cooling (RDHX and CDU) and manufacturability.

You will mentor engineers, manage cross-functional projects from sale to shipment, collaborate with production, supply chain, and sales, and drive continuous improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in manufacturing or production engineering environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Hands-on field experience with installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex engineering projects from sale through shipment with budgeting and scheduling.
• Apply DFM principles to ensure cost-effective production and guide the team.
• Collaborate with production to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Drive cost savings and productivity improvements in manufacturing.
• Manage vendor relationships and component purchasing, ensuring timely delivery.
• Mentor drafting and manufacturing teams and lead engineering meetings.
