d-Matrix is seeking an experienced Thermal Engineer to lead end-to-end thermal design for AI XPU computing platforms. You will own liquid- and air-cooled thermal systems, from cold plates to CDUs, and collaborate across Mechanical, Electrical, Packaging, and Reliability teams to deliver production-ready servers and racks.

The role requires 7+ years in thermal design and CFD, with hands-on testing experience and proficiency in tools like Flotherm and Icepak.

Qualificações

• 7+ years in thermal design, CFD, and physical testing of air- and liquid-cooled electronic systems.
• Proven experience with cold plates, rack manifolds, tubing, UQDs and CDUs.
• Deep understanding of flow networks, pressure drop, and thermal distribution across multi-rack systems.
• Familiarity with lab instrumentation and thermal test vehicles is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead thermal-fluid design of liquid cooling hardware for high-TDP XPUs.
• Define and select liquid cooling infrastructure including CDUs.
• Perform CFD and 1D hydraulic analyses to optimize flow and minimize pressure drop.
• Architect and run lab setups with thermocouples, RTDs, pressure transducers and flow meters.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Packaging, and Reliability teams to deliver production-ready systems.
