Job summary

DensityAI seeks an experienced thermal design engineer to own package-level thermals from concept through production. This hands-on role emphasizes validation, testing, and close alignment with measurements.

You will run Ansys Icepak simulations and 1D flow models, collaborate with packaging, mechanical, electrical teams, and vendors to optimize power delivery for AI accelerators. Responsibilities include developing test plans, performing CFD, modeling, and signoff, plus enabling AI-assisted

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of thermal design experience on advanced compute hardware from concept through production.
  • Strong background in heat transfer and fluid dynamics fundamentals.
  • Hands-on with CFD tools and 1D flow networks for system-level analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Own package-level thermal design and the thermal solution from concept through production.
  • Own thermal validation and verification; build test plans and close the loop between measurement and model.
  • Drive hands-on thermal simulations in Ansys Icepak and 1D flow modeling for system-level analysis.
  • Support system-level thermal design for datacenter applications; engage with vendors on development.
  • Use AI-assisted tool flows to accelerate modeling, data processing, and signoff timelines.
