Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Hayward, CA is seeking a Design Engineer IV to lead the design of complex thermal solutions for semiconductor applications. You will transform customer requirements into manufacturable designs, driving development from concept through production.

Work closely with customers, sales, operations, and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet performance, quality and reliability standards; participate in NPIs and design reviews to align with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years design experience in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry
• Prototyping and testing experience highly desirable
• Experience with rapid-turn, engineer-to-order environments

Responsibilities

• Designs thermal solutions for heating and temperature sensing in gas/liquid delivery systems using CAD software.
• Collaborates with account managers and operations to meet customer specifications.
• Leads design reviews and NPIs, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives.
• Supports customer engagements and presentations as needed
