Job summary

Blue Origin in Van Horn, TX is seeking a Test Stand Build and Integration Technician to support fabrication, assembly, and integration of test stands for engine and component facilities.

You will collaborate with Ground System Development engineers, lead pre-task briefings, and maintain safety and quality standards in a high-hazard environment, including cryogenics and high-pressure systems. Relocation benefits available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on fabrication and integration in related industries.
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and procedures.
• Strong safety, quality focus, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Build test stand sub-assemblies (e.g. pneumatic panels).
• Integrate sub-assemblies and components to fielded test stands.
• Fabrication (tube bending) and routing of tubing.
• Install and checkout wire harnesses, electrical components, and instrumentation.
• Review work instructions for accuracy and provide feedback to Build Engineers.
• Provide feedback to engineers on design concepts and improvements.
• Oversee external contractor work to meet workmanship and technical standards.
• Lead pre-task briefings for work tasks.
