Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on Technician to operate and maintain test facilities for a new engines program in Van Horn, TX. You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with installation and alignment of test articles, and collaborate with engineers on upgrades to stands and support systems.

Responsibilities include instrument calibration, wiring, and data acquisition support while adhering to safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience with industrial facilities, test ops, or aerospace maintenance.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and P&IDs.
• Comfort operating heavy equipment and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain test facility systems under procedures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on valves, pumps, and piping.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair facility components for readiness.
• Update maintenance logs and documentation accurately.
• Assist with installation, alignment, and removal of test articles.
