Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Test Software Engineer in McKinney, TX, onsite. You will develop and maintain software for test systems, integrating with production test equipment and instrumentation.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and delivering end-to-end test solutions. Ideal candidates have strong C/C++/C#, LabVIEW/TestStand skills, experience with ATE, and Windows/Linux environments, plus Wind River tools and FPGA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with C/C++/C#, LabVIEW and TestStand for test software.
• Experience building automated test stations and TPS GUIs.
• Ability to interface test software with test instrumentation.
• Knowledge of Git/Github and software configuration management.
• Experience with Windows and Linux OS, and Wind River vxWorks.
• FPGA development knowledge and related tools experience.
• Strong written communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, test, and maintain software for on-site factory test systems.
• Create applications, libraries, and drivers per organization standards.
• Collaborate with multidiscipline engineering teams on test solutions.
• Develop and maintain ATE software for production environments.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware for test equipment development.
• Support full lifecycle: requirements through maintenance.
• Lead multiple tasks in a fast-paced production setting.
