Job summary

RTX in McKinney, Texas, is seeking an engineer to design and develop test software for RF production testing. You will work with hardware and software engineers, implementing software engineering best practices and leading design activity planning.

The role requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of experience with C#, CVI, C, or C++, plus RF test automation and NI Test Suite. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience developing test software in C#, CVI, C/C++, and using code review tools.
• Experience automating RF test equipment control.
• Experience creating RF test plans and sequences with NI Test Suite.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test software for production testing with hardware and software engineers.
• Apply system software engineering best practices for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead design activity planning with disciplined engineering processes.
• Communicate technical information in formal design reviews.
• Provide hands-on support to product testing in the engineering test environment.
• Share knowledge and mentor other engineers on the team.
• Support the RF Technologies department goals as directed.
