Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior Production Control lead for Test Operations Maintenance, coordinating across Huntsville, Kent, and West Texas facilities. You will shape standard work, план maintenance, and resource forecasting to support spaceflight test programs.

The role requires strong schedule management experience, ERP/CMMS proficiency, and the ability to influence diverse teams. Travel up to 25% is expected, with base sites in the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional schedule management, production control, or maintenance planning experience.
• Ability to operate independently and lead in ambiguous situations.
• Experience guiding process improvement and developing team guidelines.
• Extensive ERP/MRP and CMMS experience; familiarity with inventory systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence across levels.
• Eligible to gain access to Redstone Arsenal (US requirement).
• US citizen, national, permanent resident, or eligible refugee/asylum status.

Responsibilities

• Define and build the production control function for Test Operations Maintenance at scale.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities (PMs, repairs, upgrades) aligned to test campaigns.
• Create integrated maintenance schedules balancing capacity and demand; forecast resources.
• Manage Work Order lifecycle and report key maintenance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate parts, materials, and tooling with procurement to avoid shortages.
• Lead anomaly investigations and root-cause analyses to develop recovery plans.
• Serve as primary scheduling liaison between Test Operations Maintenance and customers.
• Mentor junior staff and improve ERP/MRP/CMMS workflows as the function grows.
