Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL is seeking a senior professional to lead the Production Control function within Test Operations Maintenance. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring PMs, repairs, and upgrades align with test campaigns and CPV needs.

Travel 10–25% to support Kent, WA and West Texas operations; mentor junior staff and optimize ERP/CMMS workflows as the function grows, contributing to safe, repeatable spaceflight.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in schedule management, production control, or maintenance planning.
• Ability to work independently and lead in ambiguous situations.
• Experience guiding process improvement and setting guidelines at team/department level.
• Substantial experience with ERP/MRP and/or CMMS platforms; inventory/database systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Must be eligible to gain access to Redstone Arsenal.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define the production control function and establish scalable processes and tools.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to align with test campaigns.
• Build integrated maintenance schedules balancing capacity against demand.
• Manage Work Order lifecycle and track key maintenance metrics.
• Coordinate parts, materials, and tooling with procurement and supply chain.
• Lead problem-solving and root-cause analyses for outages and constraints.
• Serve as primary scheduling contact between Test Operations Maintenance and internal customers.
• Mentor junior staff and improve ERP/MRP/CMMS workflows.
