Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced maintenance and test operations engineer to support the Alabama Test Operations team at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. You will develop maintenance plans, troubleshoot hardware, and lead improvements across test stands, flow testing, and propulsion components.

The role requires strong data analysis, instrumentation knowledge, and the ability to work in a high‑pressure, safety‑mocused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a test, propulsion, industrial, energy, or hardware-rich environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards.
• Proven data analysis skills and problem-solving mindset.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. and obtain access.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance plans and process architecture for test facilities.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and identify root causes.
• Create and review maintenance instructions for facility hardware.
• Support readiness reviews and risk assessments for compliance.
• Coordinate with external vendors for preventative maintenance.
• Lead continuous improvement and technology enhancements.
