Job summary

Blue Origin's Alabama Test Operations (ATO) Maintenance team at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, AL, maintains the MSFC 4670 Engine Test Stand facility and supports upgrades for Blue Origin engines and components. The role focuses on maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a safety-first environment.

The position requires hands-on maintenance, operating readiness for post-maintenance activation, and collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
• Experience in test, propulsion, or hardware-rich environments is expected.
• Knowledge of high-pressure, cryogenic, hydraulic, pneumatic, data acquisition, and power systems is required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Author maintenance plans and work instructions for test facility hardware.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for failures.
• Support functional testing of components (valves, filters, regulators) using high-pressure systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and repair efforts.
• Participate in Safety and Risk Reviews to ensure compliance with manuals.
• Develop and deliver training for engineers and technicians.
