Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Test Engineering Manager 3 in Roy, UT to lead the Missile lab's test, integration, and checkout activities. You will drive hardware-in-the-loop tests, coordinate with government customers, and oversee lab operations and certifications.

The ideal candidate has a DoD Secret clearance, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of test planning, system integration, and verification across IPTs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience, or Master's Degree with 6 years of related experience.
• Experience leading tasks on schedule, cost and meeting requirements.
• Proven track record of leading teams to a common goal.
• Knowledge of system integration and test principles and test plan development.

Responsibilities

• Lead Hardware-in-the-Loop testing to validate hardware and software configurations.
• Interface with the US Government customer during Readiness Reviews and related activities.
• Support system architecture and verification planning with systems engineering and IPTs.
• Assess design changes for compatibility across components and disciplines.
• Develop cross-functional design and interface requirements for verification.
• Ensure master test plans and integration concepts are aligned with Test-Like-You-Fly practices.
• Lead data reviews and ensure timely, objective review of test data.
• Oversee performance and mentoring of Integration, Assembly, Test and Checkout engineers.
