Job summary

VT Group (VTG) in Washington, DC, seeks a Senior Test & Evaluation Engineer to provide engineering support for the CPS program, working hybrid onsite with occasional telework. You will collaborate across mechanical, electrical, systems, and software disciplines and assist in test planning, analysis, and reporting.

The role requires a US citizenship, an active Secret clearance (with potential TS/SCI), and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 11 years engineering experience or a master's with 10+ years.
• Active Secret clearance with capability to sustain Top Secret with SCI access.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong written and oral communication and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Describe the System Engineering V lifecycle and testing phases.
• Support SETR series and TEMP/MTS concepts.
• Provide hardware/software testing, modeling, simulation, and flight testing support.
• Assist in TEMP and related plans, verification, safety, and briefing packages.
• Support the full test cycle from planning to reporting.
• Oversee component, subsystem, and system-level testing and validation plans.
• Prepare monthly scientific/technical reports and updates to government documents.
