Job summary

VT Group (VTG) in Washington, DC, seeks a Mid to Senior level Systems Engineer to provide Engineering Support Services to engineers and SMEs in support of the CPS Program under the Department of Navy, focused on Submarine Weapons Systems.

The role is onsite at the Washington, D.C. Navy Yard with occasional telework, supporting multiple engineering disciplines and configuration management, IA, and program transition activities.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Secret level clearance and ability to sustain one.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).

Responsibilities

• Design studies and evaluations for R&D, production and operations.
• Review and provide technical advice to CPS program office on documentation submissions.
• Provide engineering support and advisement for problem definition, analysis, and requirements implementation for complex systems.
• Perform risk assessments and modeling/simulation analyses.
• Support identification, tracking and resolution of systems engineering issues.
• Prepare technical presentations and papers for design reviews and boards.
• Collaborate with CPS program office stakeholders, including Government National Team and AHPO.
