Job summary

Jabil in Florence, Kentucky is seeking a Test Engineer IV to design, develop, and maintain test procedures, tester hardware and software in a server manufacturing environment.

You will perform failure analyses, diagnose hardware and software issues, develop automation scripts, mentor staff, and serve as a technical liaison to customers to ensure high-quality results. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and extensive IPC/ISO experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field and 8 years of experience with IPC and ISO standards to conduct failure analyses and confirm quality standards.
• Must have 8 years of experience developing test processes for electronic assemblies using automated functional testers, including AOI, AXI, and ICT.
• In lieu of a degree and 8 years of experience, alternative combinations with more experience or higher degrees may be accepted.
• Must have 3 years of experience conducting failure analysis on electronics circuits, analog, RF, and high power.
• Must have 2 years of experience developing troubleshooting tools, creating guides, and working with PCIe on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test procedures, tester hardware, and software in a server manufacturing environment.
• Perform failure analysis to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related issues during testing and integration processes.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate testing, collect and analyze data, and evaluate system performance for computing servers.
• Coach test engineering technician staff to deliver high-quality results and train engineers, technicians, and support staff on testing processes.
• Act as a technical liaison for assigned customers to facilitate communication and collaboration.
• Develop troubleshooting guides for complex repairs and train technicians on new models produced at the factory.
