Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Test Engineer IV in Florence, Kentucky to design, develop, and maintain test procedures for server hardware. You will diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, automate testing, and analyze performance to improve products.

You will mentor engineers and technicians, develop troubleshooting guides, and act as a liaison for customers to ensure effective collaboration on test programs.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electronics Engineering or related field and 8 years of experience with IPC/ISO standards for failure analyses.
• 8 years of experience developing test processes for electronic assemblies using automated testers (AOI, AXI, ICT).
• Alternative education/experience options: 2 extra years experience or master’s/PhD with reduced years.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test procedures, tester hardware and software for server manufacturing.
• Perform failure analysis to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues during testing and integration.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate testing, collect data, and evaluate system performance.
• Coach test engineering staff to deliver high-quality results.
• Train and mentor engineers, technicians, and support staff on testing processes.
• Act as technical liaison for assigned customers to facilitate communication.
• Develop troubleshooting guides for complex repairs and train technicians on new models.
