Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing solutions leader, is seeking a Technician Engineer in Florence, KY to support the Test Engineering team in developing and commissioning test solutions, and to deliver production-ready fixtures and programs.

You will assist in building testers and environmental tooling, coordinate training and documentation, and work with Manufacturing to improve test yields, uptime, and cost efficiency through optimized processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency with Windows-based OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills including Jabil software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence; read and understand visuals.

Responsibilities

• Support Test Engineer in developing and commissioning test solutions.
• Provide production-ready deliverables to Test Support and Manufacturing.
• Assist in building testers, fixtures and environmental tooling.
• Interface to Test Support with documentation and training.
• Coordinate training and education for test operations with Manufacturing.
• Monitor test yields, efficiency, uptime; report improvements and targets.
• Upgrade test processes balancing cost and coverage for an optimized solution.
• Coordinate timetable for test readiness with Test Support and weekly production schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
