Job summary

Crystal Group seeks a Senior Test Engineer to coordinate and perform qualification testing on rugged electronics, supporting compliance and product validation. The role emphasizes EMC, environmental, and safety testing, with responsibility for peer reviews and mentoring small teams.

You will work on test strategies with the Systems team, develop detailed test plans, and coordinate with external labs while ensuring accurate reporting and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Must have a US Person (US citizen, permanent resident, or protected status).
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years of engineering experience or 10+ years in mechanical engineering in lieu of a degree.
• Current valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform qualification testing on rugged electronics, including EMC, environmental, power, and safety tests.
• Witness tests, collect data, analyze results, and perform diagnostic procedures.
• Lead small project groups and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop test plans and strategies with Systems team and coordinate with external laboratories.
• Ensure compliance documentation and reports are complete and accurate.
