Job summary

The Crystal Equation Corporation is seeking an Environmental Test Engineer to bridge design and validation, owning end-to-end lab testing, setup, execution, teardown, and reporting. You will troubleshoot hardware in real time, translate engineering requirements into SOPs and test procedures, and ensure consistent results across labs and sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a lab or hardware testing environment.
• Experience with test plans and procedures.
• Experience creating equipment build guides and SOPs.
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings and electrical schematics to create assembly instructions.
• Hands-on experience with vibration shakers, thermal chambers, instrumentation and lab tools.

Responsibilities

• Authorize, standardize and maintain SOPs for testing including vibration and thermal stress tests.
• Create visual step-by-step assembly manuals for DUTs and test setups.
• Develop If/Then troubleshooting trees for engineers and lab techs.
• Translate raw test data into concise high-level status reports for stakeholders.
• Build test setups and rigs to support testing and manage day-to-day tasks.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to prevent schedule slippage in real time.
• Document issues clearly to request resources and coordinate testing activities.
• Foster collaboration with internal teams and external lab staff.
• Manage changes to the planned test schedule with the team.
