Job summary

Crystal Group in Iowa is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to coordinate and perform qualification testing on rugged electronics for commercial and military environments. You will support environmental, EMC, power, and safety testing to prove design acceptability and obtain certifications.

The role includes peer reviews, mentoring, leading small project groups, developing test plans, and coordinating with external laboratories.

Qualifications

  • US Person as per job requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science; 5+ years engineering experience.
  • 5+ years electrical or mechanical component building experience.
  • Experience with CAD software and electronic test equipment.
  • Ability to lead small teams and coordinate with internal/external labs.

Environmental, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), power, and safety qualification are used to support product development and validation, marketing, sales, and manufacturing initiatives to prove design acceptability and obtain various compliance certifications. Occasional exposure to manufacturing floor and testing environments.
