Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Senior Staff Electrical Test Engineer for the Atlas program to design, deploy, and debug manufacturing test systems. You will own test coverage across PCBA, cables, and electromechanical assemblies, ensuring reliable and scalable test equipment for pilot production to full scale manufacturing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish test standards, drive continuous improvement, and mentor other engineers.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on hi-pot/dielectric test setups experience.
• PCBA test fixtures and fixture wiring experience.
• Schematic reading and mechanical drawing interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and debugging of manufacturing test systems.
• Own test coverage for cable/harness, PCBA, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Document test procedures, fixtures, and configurations.
• Design and commission PCBA functional test fixtures.
• Build and debug hi-pot/dielectric withstand test stations.
• Provide project management and design support for outsourced test development.
• Analyze test results to improve product quality.
