Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Senior Test Engineer to support a high-impact, multi-agency program serving the United States Space Force (USSF) / Space Systems Command (SSC), USAF, and other stakeholders. The role focuses on testing, validating, and deploying a large-scale SATCOM system within an existing infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings strong PKI expertise and Agile development experience, along with solid problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 8+ years of related experience preferred.
• Experience testing across the full system development life cycle with formal test procedures.
• Proven ability to document test results for corrective actions and audits.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers and customer test stakeholders to define test priorities and schedules.
• Partner with system-level test teams and Scrum Masters to plan test environments and execute test events.
• Drive cross-team dependency tracking to support program release testing.
• Serve as a technical interface among software and systems engineers and IA engineers in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Apply Behavior Driven Development practices to maintain engineering rigor and quality.
• Plan, execute, and oversee regression testing for customer-delivered builds and images.
• Coordinate with customer contacts for Test Readiness and Test Results Reviews and events.
• Develop and maintain test artifacts including Plans, Descriptions, and Reports.
