Job summary

Teledyne Micropac is seeking a Test Engineer III to develop and maintain automated test equipment and software for high‑reliability electronic products. You will work with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to analyze yields, investigate issues, and implement robust test solutions in a on‑site manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in test or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience developing and maintaining test software using NI LabVIEW.
• Experience with automated electronic test equipment and instrumentation.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic hardware, test systems, and software applications.
• Experience supporting manufacturing test operations in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, validate, and document automated test software and hardware for characterization, qualification, and production testing.
• Troubleshoot test software, hardware, fixture, and instrumentation issues.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to investigate yield losses and performance issues.
• Analyze test data and support root cause investigations.
• Participate in corrective and preventive action activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, repeatability, throughput, and reliability.
• Support transfer of new products from development into production.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel, technicians, engineers, and customers.
• Generate, review, and maintain test documentation.
• Assist with qualification and environmental test activities as needed.
• Support internal and customer audits, reviews, and inquiries.
• Participate in cost reduction, yield improvement, and process modernization initiatives.
