Job summary

Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced LabVIEW Engineer to design, develop, and debug software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE). You will create Virtual Instruments, interface with DAQ devices and instruments, and ensure high-quality test data.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering.
Strong LabVIEW programming skills, LabVIEW & NI Test Stand.
Experience with National Instruments hardware (PXI, cRIO) and communication protocols (TCP/IP, Serial, CAN, Bluetooth, SPI, I2C).
Understanding of electrical design and test equipment integration.

Responsibilities

System Development: Design and maintain LabVIEW applications for automated test systems.
Hardware Interfacing: Control instruments such as DAQ devices, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
Test Execution: Develop and run test scripts, test sequences, and procedures for product validation.
Data Management: Collect, analyze, and report test data, ensuring compliance with product specifications.
Collaboration: Work with manufacturing and design engineers to optimize test coverage and troubleshooting.
