Job summary

Katalyst CRO is seeking a LabVIEW Engineer for Automated Test Equipment to design, develop, and debug software using LabVIEW and TestStand for validating production tests in Rockford, IL.

You will create VIs, interface with test hardware, and ensure high-quality test data, with 8+ years of LabVIEW experience and strong collaboration with manufacturing and design engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of LabVIEW experience in ATE design and development.
• Strong LabVIEW programming skills.
• Experience with NI TestStand.
• Experience with National Instruments hardware, including PXI and cRIO.
• Experience with TCP/IP, Serial, CAN, Bluetooth, SPI, and I2C protocols.
• Strong hardware integration and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• System Development: Design and maintain LabVIEW applications for automated test systems.
• Hardware Interfacing: Control instruments such as DAQ devices, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
• Test Execution: Develop and execute test scripts, test sequences, and procedures for product validation.
• Data Management: Collect, analyze, and report test data while ensuring compliance with product specifications.
• Collaboration: Work with manufacturing and design engineers to optimize test coverage and troubleshoot issues.
• Knowledge of Aerospace Electrical System Products & Systems is an added advantage.

The LabVIEW Engineer for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) will design, develop, and debug software using NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand to automate validation and production testing. The role involves creating Virtual Instruments (VIs), interfacing with test hardware, and ensuring high-quality test data.

8+ years of experience as a LabVIEW Engineer with strong expertise in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) is required.
