Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking a Test Engineer II or III for on-site work. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test equipment to validate aerospace and electronics products, with a focus on LabVIEW development and hardware integration.

Join a skilled team and contribute to test system architecture, documentation, and testing across product life cycles; level determined by experience, with opportunity to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work for Level II; 5+ years for Level III
• BA or BS in engineering; Masters/PhD preferred
• Knowledge of hardware design incl. analog/digital circuitry and schematic reading
• LabVIEW Development, TestStand, C#, Python, Visual Studio or similar platforms
• Experience with automated test systems, data acquisition, and ITAR considerations

Responsibilities

• Design, code and debug automated test equipment and data acquisition systems
• Develop LabVIEW-based test software and associated hardware for validation
• Prepare design packages with wiring diagrams, specifications and BOMs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet specs, cost, and reliability
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements
