ON.energy is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead end-to-end validation, de-risking, and lab-based stress testing of energy and AI infrastructure products. Based in the Greater Denver area with travel to Houston several times a year, you will orchestrate tests, develop procedures, mentor staff, and bridge lab results to field deployment across On Energy's grid-tied systems.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical or systems engineering.
• 5+ years of product development, test validation and de-risking in power systems.
• Experience testing grid-code compliance of inverter-based resources.
• DOE/National Lab framework experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Energy Storage Systems, Power Electronics and Grid-Forming tech.

Responsabilités

• Design and document test procedures using lab assets to validate performance under extreme conditions.
• Coordinate facility interactions and test planning with investigators and facility managers.
• Analyze sensor data to guide product and vendor iterations.
• Develop commissioning SOPs and troubleshooting guides for field deployment.
• Rotate and mentor field technicians during testing phases.
