Job summary

B4Corp is seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer in Bethesda, MD to design, develop, and run automated tests within a commercial cloud environment. The role emphasizes building scalable test automation and integrating QA into the CI/CD pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have TS/SCI clearance, strong Java or Python skills, and hands-on experience with Selenium or Katalon Studio, JMeter, Jenkins, and AWS. Excellent leadership and collaboration within an Agile/DevOps team are essential.

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance with polygraph required.
• Extensive experience in software quality assurance focusing on automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python for test scripts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenki ns, GitHub) and integration with tests.
• Experience with automated test frameworks and cloud environments (AWS).
• Experience in SAFe Agile and DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect automated testing solutions and maintain the framework.
• Drive test automation standards and best practices across the team.
• Mentor junior/mid-level test engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to support feature testing in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate to estimate story complexity for testing and delivery per acceptance criteria.
• Develop automated test cases for GUI/COTS applications using Selenium or Katalon Studio.
• Use DevOps to ensure repeatability and configuration management of tests.
• Document end-to-end test narratives and support performance testing with JMeter.
