Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Test Engineer in Bethesda, MD to design, develop, and execute automated tests within a commercial cloud CI/CD environment. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required, with core hours 9am–4pm and salary up to $205,000 per year.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across teams, and drive automation using Selenium, Katalon Studio, Jenkins, and AWS in an SAFe DevOps setting. Strong programming skills in Java or Python are essential.

Qualifications

• Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph required.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with focus on automation testing.
• Experience creating, executing and documenting test cases in an Agile cadence.
• Ability to design and implement robust automation frameworks using Selenium or Katalon Studio.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python for test scripts.
• Significant experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub) and integration with automated tests.
• Experience with software performance testing in cloud environments.
• Experience in Commercial Cloud Platforms (AWS) and DevOps practices in SAFe environments.
• Education/experience combination: BS + 12–15 years or MS + 10–14 years; degree may be substituted with experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests in a CI/CD pipeline.
• Mentor junior and mid-level test engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and support user story acceptance criteria.
• Develop test approaches emphasizing automation for regression testing.
• Create end-to-end test case narratives and support performance testing with JMeter.
• Collaborate across Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Developers to ensure test coverage.
