Job summary

Teledyne Micropac is seeking a Test Engineer III to develop, maintain, and support automated test equipment and software used to characterize and produce high-reliability power management and hybrid microelectronic products. The role collaborates with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to deliver robust test solutions.

You will have strong LabVIEW skills and hands-on experience with automated test systems in a on-site manufacturing environment, driving yield

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering field required.
• 6+ years in test or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience developing and maintaining test software using LabVIEW.
• Experience with automated electronic test equipment and instrumentation.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, test systems, and software.
• Experience supporting manufacturing test operations in production.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, validate, and document automated test software and hardware used for characterization, qualification, and production testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test software, hardware, fixture, and instrumentation issues.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to investigate yield losses.
• Analyze test data and support root-cause investigations for product and process failures.
• Participate in corrective and preventive action activities as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, repeatability, throughput, and reliability.
• Support transfer of new products from development into production.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel, technicians, engineers, and customers.
• Generate, review, and maintain test documentation (test procedures, work instructions, technical reports).
• Assist with qualification and environmental test activities as needed.
