Job summary

At MKS Instruments, Inc., a Sr. Test Engineer will partner with Principal and Senior Test Engineers, Product Support engineers, and test technicians to support deployment, development, and documentation of automated test systems used across global service sites.

You will train under senior staff, provide hands-on technical assistance, contribute to design and validation of test systems and fixtures, and use LabVIEW and data analysis tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in automated test systems in high-volume manufacturing/service.
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support/deploy automated test systems across global service sites.
• Train staff and provide hands-on technical assistance for test stands.
• Contribute to design, development, and documentation of test systems and fixtures.
• Verify and validate test systems before deployment for accuracy and reliability.
• Troubleshoot using LabVIEW and diagnose unit under test issues.
• Analyze test data with tools like Minitab and SPC.
