Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced Test Engineer III to own end-to-end test campaigns on the Terawave program, including VTB, Flatsat, and HIL environments. You will translate bench methods into producible procedures for the production line and mentor junior engineers.

You will lead test execution, review procedures, capture anomalies, and drive improvements to reduce cycle time and improve first-pass yield. Denver-area USA work location preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical or Systems Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years in hardware test, SIT, or environmental/functional test in aerospace/defense.
• Experience leading test campaigns end-to-end: development, execution, disposition, reporting.
• Proficiency with test benches, GSE, and data acquisition; interpret telemetry in real time.
• Experience with CM, nonconformance, anomaly disposition and corrective actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication for leadership briefs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and execute VTB and HIL verification procedures from draft to release.
• Lead test campaign execution, manage readiness gates, and monitor telemetry.
• Capture and disposition anomalies; author formal test reports and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain lab verification and validation procedures.
• Generate artifacts for cross-functional review; mentor junior Test Engineers.
• Interface with subsystem engineers on objectives, success criteria, and DfT.
• Support and execute formal acceptance test campaigns; drive process improvements.
