Job summary

Blue Origin in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to lead avionics testing for the TeraWave program. You will drive the test strategy, plan, and verification for spaceflight electronics, coordinating with cross-functional teams and production.

You will manage bench and flight test campaigns, oversee anomaly resolution, and ensure test infrastructure scales for multiple vehicles. Strong hardware experience and U.S. work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical test, avionics integration and test, or vehicle electrical systems verification.
• Experience leading electrical test campaigns with flight hardware.
• Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal generators, data acquisition systems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the avionics electrical test strategy, test plan, and verification matrices for spaceflight components.
• Document test configurations, results, and test scripts.
• Lead bench-level, vehicle-level, and pre-launch electrical test campaigns including power-on and EMI/EMC testing.
• Coordinate cross-functional interfaces to define test requirements and review artifacts.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for test anomalies through closure.
• Partner with manufacturing to ensure test infrastructures integrate with production flow.
