Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead test and evaluation for autonomous systems, UAS, and weapon systems from concept to production.

You will drive testing strategies, coordinate resources, and oversee RCCA initiatives, while ensuring compliance with DoD standards and NAS rules. This role demands strong leadership and the ability to work across multiple teams in a dynamic defense tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline and 8+ years of test engineering experience.
• Experience with MIL-STD standards and aerospace standards.
• Experience testing SRM or liquid propulsion systems.
• Familiarity with the National Airspace System and UAS regulations.
• Active DoD collaboration or experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on integration, maintenance, and testing strategies across hardware and software.
• Coordinate all aspects of testing activities, including personnel, equipment, and facilities.
• Act as Project Engineer for small UAS, missile, or weapon systems testing and integration.
• Prepare test plans, procedures, flight cards, and technical reports.
• Plan test events with cross-department teams and ensure successful execution.
• Contribute to requirements development and design reviews; support safety boards.
• Lead RCCA teams and create associated system documentation.
