Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Project Engineer for our Test and Evaluation team. You will be heavily involved in new development and solving complex problems, positioned at the intersection of multiple critical teams from concept to production readiness.

The role emphasizes cross-functional strategy, system integration and program execution on UAS and weapon systems. Candidates will bring extensive flight test and DoD development experience, with strong engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years test engineering experience.
• Travel as required for planning and testing.
• Working knowledge of MIL-STD-8591, MIL-STD-2088, MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, AS8775, AS5653.
• Experience with SRM or liquid propulsion systems testing.
• Strong knowledge of DoD flight operations and UAS rules.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on integration, maintenance and testing strategies to achieve program objectives.
• Coordinate all aspects of testing activities, including personnel, equipment, and facilities.
• Act as a Project Engineer for small UAS, missile or weapon systems to include development and integration tests.
• Lead test and integration efforts at system and subsystem levels.
• Document test plans, procedures, flight cards and test reports.
