Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Project Engineer for Advanced Effects to lead test and evaluation across flight test programs, small UAS systems, and weapon systems integration. You will coordinate cross‑discipline teams from concept through production.

You will develop test plans, lead event planning, and oversee documentation, with responsibilities in design reviews, safety boards, RCCA processes, and compliance with DoD standards. A TS clearance and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline and 8+ years of test engineering experience.
• Experience with MIL-STD-8591, MIL-STD-2088, MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, AS8775, or AS5653.
• Experience with SRM or liquid propulsion systems testing.
• Knowledge of the National Airspace System and UAS operating rules.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix OS and data extraction via command-line tools.
• Experience as a test director or test conductor on flying DoD systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on integration, maintenance, and testing strategies to meet program objectives.
• Act as Project Engineer for small UAS, missile, or weapon systems and perform integration tests.
• Develop and communicate flight test plans, procedures, flight cards, and test reports.
• Lead test event planning and execution across cross-departmental teams.
• Participate in requirements development, design reviews, safety boards, RCCA, and system documentation.
