STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Test Data Engineer to design, build, and govern production-scale test data solutions for a remote or Boston-based position. The candidate will lead data masking, subsetting, and secure handling of PHI/PII in regulated environments.

The role requires 8+ years in the field, strong cloud data management experience, and a deep understanding of data storage techniques and platform integrity across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Test Data Engineering or Test Data Management.
• Strong experience with Cloud Test Data Management.
• Hands-on expertise in Data Masking and Data Subsetting.
• Experience protecting and managing PHI and PII data.
• Strong understanding of Data Storage Tools & Techniques.
• Experience with test data generation and maintaining referential integrity across systems.
• Strong knowledge of Platform Integrity and lower-environment data management.
• Healthcare industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage production-scale test data across multiple systems and environments.
• Perform data subsetting and test data generation while maintaining referential integrity.
• Implement and maintain secure PHI/PII data masking standards.
• Manage test data refresh schedules, storage, compute capacity, and lower-environment data requirements.
• Establish consistent standards for data masking and production-scale test data.
• Balance realistic data volumes with cost, performance, security, and compliance
• Support test data needs across large-scale, regulated technology environments.
