Job summary

Real is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Test Automation to lead quality engineering for web and mobile applications in a regulated digital health environment. You will design automated tests for APIs, microservices, and frontend/backend components and drive verification across the product lifecycle.

You will mentor engineers, develop reusable automation frameworks, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with traceability and audit-ready documentation in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience in software development or test engineering for production applications.
• Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of source control, defect tracking, build pipelines, and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for web, mobile, APIs, microservices, and integrated systems.
• Create test strategies, plans, reusable automation frameworks, and traceable verification documentation.
• Validate frontend applications, backend services, databases, APIs, and end-to-end system functionality.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates.
• Participate in requirements reviews, design reviews, defect triage, and risk assessments.
• Investigate complex issues, document findings, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and mentor engineers on automation best practices.
