Job summary

MiniMed seeks a Sr Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for multi-tiered apps using Java and standard automation tools. You will help build scalable automation frameworks and ensure high software quality in a regulated medical devices context.

This on-site role in North Ridge, CA requires collaboration with Product Management, Development, DevOps, and QA teams to plan and execute automation activities. The position supports CI/CD with Jenkins, Git, and Maven.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience; or Master's with 2 years; or PhD with 0 years.
• Strong programming experience in Java and test automation.
• Experience building or maintaining enterprise test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Rest Assured, BrowserStack, Applitools.
• Experience testing UI, API, and backend layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions using Java and industry-standard tools.
• Enhance, document, and maintain automation frameworks, tools, and utilities used by test engineering teams.
• Provide technical guidance to Test Automation Engineers across Enterprise Test Engineering.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Development, DevOps, and other teams to plan automation activities.
• Expand automation framework to support multiple environments and layers.
• Develop automated component, API, service, and UI tests.
• Debug, optimize, and maintain automated test scripts to improve execution reliability and coverage.
• Support CI/CD via Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
