Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Principal Test Engineer/Test Lead to define quality strategy and lead verification and validation across mobile apps, connected devices, cloud services, APIs, and cybersecurity. You will guide offshore and distributed teams, champion AI-enabled testing, and ensure regulatory compliance across the product lifecycle.

The role demands deep technical leadership, risk-based testing, and collaboration with engineering, regulatory, and quality functions to drive release readiness

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading large-scale testing across software, mobile, cloud, and medical device ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage globally distributed test teams and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy, quality roadmap, and release readiness for multiple products.
• Lead V&V activities and develop test plans, protocols, and traceability matrices.
• Ensure compliance with Design Controls, FDA, IEC 62304, and ISO 13485.
• Oversee mobile, cloud, API, and system integration testing across platforms.
• Drive test automation, CI/CD discipline, and AI-enabled testing adoption.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate globally distributed teams.
