Job summary

MiniMed is seeking an experienced Test Engineer specializing in API testing and data testing to join our medical device software verification team in California. The role focuses on ensuring safety, performance, data integrity, and compliance for interconnected healthcare platforms and cloud-connected devices.

You will design tests, plan resources, and drive quality across customer samples and specialized evaluations.

Qualifications

• Requires practical knowledge demonstrated in testing medical device software.
• Bachelor’s degree with minimum two years of relevant experience or advanced degree with zero years.
• Experience in API and data testing within regulated environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
• Plans and arranges labor, schedules, and equipment for testing of standard and special devices.
• Provides test parameters and defines tests to be performed for sample testing.
• Compiles data and defines changes in testing procedures, equipment, or processes.
• Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests not done in the test area.
