FlightSafety International is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join its Software Quality Assurance team. You will verify the quality of mission critical flight simulation and training systems and build test automation for critical business applications.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software testing experience in Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid environments, strong SQL skills, and hands-on experience with test frameworks including TFS, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Playwright is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in software testing.
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid environments.
• Strong SQL data validation and DB querying skills.
• Proven ability to translate requirements into test plans and scripts.

Responsibilities

• Perform black box and white box testing using exploratory techniques.
• Collaborate with business representatives and software engineers to analyze use cases and requirements.
• Analyze application logic and write complete and reusable test scripts.
• Execute testing tasks, analyze results and document defects; lead defect reviews.
• Develop automation strategies across multiple applications and provide guidance on frameworks.
