Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead automation strategy across complex healthcare systems, designing, implementing, and optimizing automation frameworks and migrations from Selenium-based to Playwright-driven solutions.

You will mentor peers, develop reusable components, and ensure coverage across API, UI, batch, and backend tests while complying with HIPAA and security rules.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software testing experience with at least 5 years in automation.
• Hands-on Selenium-based automation (Java) with framework design and maintenance.
• Proficient with Playwright and TypeScript; ramp to production quickly.
• Strong programming in Java, TypeScript, and Python; Git experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of enterprise automation frameworks.
• Define standards and best practices; integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior and mid-level automation engineers; conduct code reviews.
• Develop reusable components and libraries for test assets.
• Troubleshoot complex automation failures and root causes.
• Provide input into test planning, estimation, and QA strategy.
• Evaluate tools and technologies aligning with enterprise architecture.
• Ensure automation aligns with HIPAA and healthcare data security rules.
