Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Territory Representative to drive Animal Health product sales across The Woodlands, Spring, Huntsville, and Conroe territories in Texas.

You will meet with veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts to understand needs and present solutions that align with our Science of Healthier Animals strategy. This role requires strong account management, field-based collaboration, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least 10 years of sales or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates about Animal Health product portfolio with customers; tailor discussions to needs.
• Primary point of contact for assigned customers; meet with decision makers to understand practice structure and needs.
• Develop territory and account plans; partner with National Account Managers and Distribution Partners.
• Foster a One Company approach to enhance knowledge of the Animal Health portfolio.
• Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines.
• Identify programs to address customer needs and provide education & training opportunities.
• Develop understanding of Animal Health products, industry trends, and competitor landscape.
