Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist III for Commerce Township, MI. This role involves travel within an assigned territory to collect specimens at PSCs, IOPs, and other sites, with Monday–Friday hours and rotational Saturday coverage.

You will obtain patient identifications, label specimens, and ensure accurate testing protocols. The ideal candidate has at least three years of phlebotomy experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Strong knowledge of phlebotomy best practices and more complex collection procedures.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and keyboard/data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary draws; handle difficult draws.
• Obtain patient identification and verify specimen labeling accuracy; perform data entry as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing (labeling, centrifuging, storage).
• Provide exemplary professional, respectful patient service and address questions.
• Travel across PSC and IOP locations within the assigned territory with reliable transportation.
