Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist III to cover the Richmond, VA area Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with rotational weekends. Will travel within the territory to perform phlebotomy at PSCs, IOps, or other sites, ensuring accurate specimen collection and patient identification, while upholding Quest’s service standards.

Requirements include at least three years of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• English required; strong communication with patients and staff.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections following established procedures, including difficult draws.
• Obtain patient identification and signatures for labeling accuracy; data entry as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and storage.
• Provide exemplary professional, respectful service to all patients and clients; effective communication.
